According to the Consumer Purchase Act, the consumer is entitled to a guarantee of two years, unless otherwise agreed. The warranty applies to defects that occur within two years of the product being delivered. If the product has such a fault, the consumer has the right to demand that the product be repaired, replaced or that the price be reduced.

The warranty also applies to defects that occur during the warranty period, even if the defect is due to the consumer's carelessness. However, there are some exceptions to this rule.
